Stop syncing of Products back to salesforce Opportunity Product object

Summary:

In our Salesforce–Oracle CPQ integration (managed package), the standard behaviour is that when the Primary flag of a quote is true, CPQ updates the Opportunity Product object in Salesforce when upserting the Quote and quote line details. However, our requirement is that CPQ should not update the Opportunity Product object in Salesforce.

Is there any setting or approach to disable this behaviour? We checked with our Salesforce team but couldn’t find any option.
