Can completed learners be required to take newly added course activities w/o resetting completion?

Hi Team,

We’re currently assisting a course owner/requestor with the following scenario and would appreciate your advice.

An existing course in production has five newly added activities. Some learners have already completed the course, and the requestor would like them to take only the new activities—without resetting their completion status or creating a new course version.

We’ve reviewed common options, but they don’t meet the requestor's needs. At the moment, the only workaround is manual updates.

Has anyone handled a similar case or found a better approach to manage this?
