External purchase price line with an overlapping date range already exists
in Purchasing
Summary:
Hi @Harini Srinivasa.Rao-Oracle/ Team,
We have an External Purchase Price **** with the following details:
- Header Effective Date Range: 03/06/2023 – 02/28/2027
- Original Line Date Range: 03/06/2023 – 02/28/2027
We then have a Change Order XX with a revised date range of: 05/24/2025 – 02/28/2027
However, this results in the following error: “An external purchase price line with an overlapping date range already exists for this combination of item and unit of measure.”
Since there is a changé to the line date range, shouldn’t the system expire the existing BPA line and create a new line instead?
Could you please help clarify the expected behavior?
