Unable to stop transmission using Agent (Raise Error) in OTM

Summary:

We have a requirement to prevent transmission from being sent when required data is missing.

Currently, we are trying to achieve this using Agent action (Raise Error). However, in all tested scenarios across multiple agent events, the transmission is getting completed before the agent action is triggered. Due to this, the transmission is not being stopped.

We have validated this behavior with different agent configurations and events, and the outcome remains consistent.

Ask:

  • Is it possible in OTM to stop/block a transmission using agent actions before it is sent?
  • If yes, what is the recommended approach/configuration?
  • If not, can this be confirmed as a product limitation and suggest any alternative approach?
