Communities and Catalogue Administration Profiles

Summary:

We have a requirement for only certain learning specialists to access certain communities, instead of all learning specialists being able to access them. I know catalogue admin profiles can be applied to specialisations, courses and self-paced learning, but will they be applied to communities in the future?
