observing inconsistent behavior while sending emails in OTM.
Setup Details:
- Document:
VSD.SPAIN_IMPORT_TAXES_REPORT - Delivery Method: Email
- Triggered via: Data Query + Custom Event + Custom Agent (for controlled testing)
Observed Behavior:
We tested multiple scenarios with recipient configuration:
- Single email (individual contact):
- Email is received successfully.
- Contact Group with only one email:
- Email is received successfully.
- Contact Group with multiple emails (e.g., User A + User B):
- Email delivery is inconsistent:
- In some cases, one user receives the email while the other does not.
- Mail audit logs show failure for one recipient, but not consistently the same one.
- Email delivery is inconsistent:
- Recreating the Contact Group and re-adding emails:
- Behavior changes (sometimes a different recipient fails).
