Preparing for the 26.1.2.1 Hotfix

in Student Financial Aid

We are excited to announce the upcoming 26.1.2.1 Hotfix for Oracle Student Financial Aid, with deployment to non-production environments scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, 2026, and to production environments on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. This hotfix focuses on preparing for the Department of Education's' April 26 go-live of updates to FPS, NSLDS, and COD by ensuring controlled processing of incoming data and improving flexibility in awarding Title IV aid with NSLDS FAH/TSM files.

To assist you in preparing for this release, please review the following updates:

Administration

  • Controlled Processing of 2026–2027 ISIR and NSLDS Files: Backend updates have been implemented to allow Oracle to disable automated loading of 2026–2027 ISIR files and NSLDS FAH/TSM files into production on April 25, 2026. This helps prevent unvalidated data with new file formats to be loaded into production ahead of testing can occur with the 26B Release.
