Sick Leave Plan

Hi,

I am working on a Sick Leave plan in Oracle.

The requirement is:

• the employee’s first absence should start the period
• all absences after that should be counted for 1 full year from the first absence
• after 1 year, the used days should reset

Example: Employee absences:

• 10-Jun-2025
• 16-Dec-2025

Expected result:

• the period starts from 10-Jun-2025
• the period ends on 09-Jun-2026
• both absences are counted in the same period
• from 10-Jun-2026, the used days should reset

I tested both:

• Rolling Forward
• Rolling Backward

But neither one gave the expected result.

When checking Qualified Entitlements, the plan period is not starting from the employee’s first absence as required.
