How can we automatically propagate any assignment correct/update to all existing futuredated record

Summary:

We have a requirement to ensure that any updates made to an assignment (e.g., grade, job, manager, cost center, Full time , part time, etc.) are automatically reflected in all existing future-dated assignment records for the same employee (where applicable).

Can we enable or implement a process that will auto-update the already-created future records when an assignment change is made today, instead of requiring manual updates?

Please confirm:

• Whether there is an out-of-the-box capability to do this, and how it can be configured, or
• If not, what automation/workflow options are available to keep future-dated assignment records in sync.
