Unexpected Creation of "Contract Projects" Hierarchy in Project Dimension

Hello everyone,

We are currently configuring the Capex module in Oracle Planning (EPBCS) across two environments and have encountered inconsistent system behavior.

  • Environment 1 (Legacy):
    The Capex module was configured previously, and the Project dimension does not contain a hierarchy named "Contract Project". The configuration works as expected.
  • Environment 2 (New Setup):
    We performed a fresh configuration of the Capex module (from scratch). However, after enabling only the Capex module, the system automatically created a hierarchy named "Contract Project" under the Project dimension.

Issue:
This behavior is unexpected and inconsistent with the legacy environment. Based on our understanding, enabling the Capex module alone should not automatically introduce this hierarchy.
