How to get information from PIM custom fields and populate this information in FDC and FDG?

Greetings,

We have a demand from a client in which they need a cutom field named FCI (roughly translated to Imported Content Sheet) that is necessary to determine the percentage of imported inputs in manufactured goods in Brazil, it is crucial for determining the 4% ICMS tax rate in transactions.

Our client is currently using JD Edwards and they populate this field in item registration. Their intend is to keep it that way on Oracle Fusion, so my question is: Is it possible to create an EFF or DFF in PIM to contain this information and then populate an Attribute field in any FDC and FDG table so that this information is processed while generating or capturing a fiscal document?
