Creating an exception to the configured absence approval rules for a specific user

Hi Oracle Community,

One of our clients' has the following requirement:

They want to have Absence's for 1 specific user (the company President), auto-approved, creating an exception to the configured absence approval rules.

They are using the Global Absence Recording - Single Assignment approval rule, and have 20+ Absence Types with approvals across 6 different approval stages. In order to accommodate this, we have proposed the idea of updating the logic for every Absence Type to include an AND condition for the specific user, and create a separate branch that will be Self-Auto Approved. Then we will repeat this across all 6 levels. However, this seems to be a less than ideal solution due to the extent of configuration required to accommodate a single user, and additionally, from a maintenance point of view,
