Best Practices for Maintaining Persistent Service Connections Between VBCS and Fusion/OIC

in Visual Builder 3 comments

In our current environment, the Service Connections in Visual Builder (VBCS) that interface with Oracle Integration (OIC) and Fusion Cloud are frequently breaking. This is primarily caused by periodic password updates and credential rotations required by our security policy for the service accounts used.

Updating these manually in every Service Connection is causing significant maintenance overhead and application downtime. Is there a more robust architectural pattern for VBCS service authentication that eliminates the dependency on static user passwords and prevents these recurring connection failures?

Howdy, Stranger!
