How (if possible) do you set DFF as condition attributes for nudges or filtered lists?

Summary:

Is it possible to use DFF fields as condition attributes for nudges or filtered lists? If it is how do you do this?

Scenerio: i want to either send nudge alert or a journey (using a filtered list) to a cohort of staff that have a particular attribute that is only stored in DFF field. In my case it's a 'Term time working' field. I've tried a few things to make the DFF fields available in either nudges or filtered lists but nothing really working. Is it even possible?
