What is the purpose of the options "Actions > Change Organization" in Supply Planning?

This seems like an option to change the organization of the sales order, once it is collected to Supply Plan.

However, I'm unable to use this option to change the organization of the sales order as it's throwing the error "To change the organization you must select only sales orders, and the sales orders must be for a single item." I tried by selecting a single sales order line, still the same error. What could be the reason?
