Want to understand how planned orders are recommended by system in supply plan

Summary:

We are analyzing how the system generates planned orders and if there is a specific logic or formula behind it, as we are using a constrained supply plan.

We observed that for a particular item, the system is generating planned orders with a quantity of around 448, which aligns with the item minimum order quantity. However, for one specific month, the planned order quantity is approximately 832. We would like to understand the reason for this variation in system behavior.

The plan horizon is defined from the current date up to 12 months ahead (approximately until April 20th), and we are operating with a 5-day working calendar.
