I tried to create a workbench that contains order base and invoices

I tried to create a workbench that contains order base and invoices.
I didn't get the invoices.
i followed the steps as follow :
1 - Enhanced workbench
2- Created Layout
3 - Edited layout one for order base screen set and other for invoice screen

What i got is the order bases showed results while no invoices are returned.
