Link in Learning alert asking for sign on credentials but use single sign on

In several of our learning alerts we have a link for users to download a calendar event for their learning.

When a user clicks the link it gives them a sign in box for Fusion. The issue we are having is that as we've switched to Single Sign On users no longer have an active password to sign into Fusion this way. Is there any way that this link in the alerts can direct users to an SSO sign in page instead?
