Incorrect serial genealogy in discrete manufacturing

Summary:

We have a use case of integrating with MES system for production of discrete Work Orders. ERP will drop the Work Orders to MES system, MES system will report Finished good serial number and its components. Setting Finished good serial number as 'Predefined' in PIM will not be a viable option, as the serial number generation logic doesn't lie within Oracle Fusion ERP.

The component item's serial control is 'Entry at sales order, transfer order, or work order issue'.

We tried with

A) Finished good serial number as 'Dynamic entry at inventory receipt' .

B) Work Order does have say 10 qty for FG and 2 Components per FG.
