Can we create Sublease without defining the property definition

in Lease Accounting

Business Scenario: Our business requirement is to manage leases without capturing detailed Property Definitions (Land, Building, Floor, etc.). Accordingly, we have set the "Require Property Definition" option to "No" on the Main/Head Lease.

The Issue: When attempting to create a Sublease, the Main/Head Lease does not appear in the search/selection list. It appears that the system requires a Property/Asset link to establish the relationship between the Head Lease and the Sublease.
