REST API to Update Project Task on Existing Transactions After Task End Date in Oracle Fusion

Hi Experts,

I have a scenario in Oracle Fusion Project Costing and would appreciate your guidance.

Scenario:

  • A Project and Task were created earlier.
  • The Task start date and end date are now in the past (end-dated).
  • A PO was created earlier referencing this project/task.
  • Now, the task is no longer active, and a new task has been created with budget assigned.

Requirement:

We need to update the Project Task on the existing transactions (such as receipts or related inventory transactions) to the new active task.

Questions:
