Change action on an employee's new hire record

Summary:

We recently found an HCM record where we need to change the Action when the record was first created. This employee when from a contingent worker to an employee back on Jan 2, 2025. When the record was converted from pending worker to employee assignment change was selected as the action. This is incorrect and now this record is not showing on some reporting that we do.

We need to change the action to Rehire, but we would rather not have to cancel the work relationship and reprocess the hire. Since this record is over a year old there are timecards, benefits, learning, journeys, absences, etc or this record. We don't want to have to remove all those things and then have to rebuild everything.
