Approvals – Approve and Route from GM HR to CEO

We have a requirement to configure enrollment approvals based on course types.

For certain learning types, the approval hierarchy ends at GM HR (Line Manager → HOD → HR → GM HR). However, the business requires the following flexibility:

• The approval flow should end at GM HR by default
• At the GM HR level, the approver should have an option to “Approve and Route” the request to the CEO for final approval, only when required

Is there any standard functionality in Oracle Fusion Learning approvals that allows an approver to dynamically approve and route to an additional approver?

If not, what is the recommended approach to achieve this requirement (e.g., BPM rules, custom attributes, or another configuration)?
