Fast Formula for Time Cards - Time entry rule

Hello, I am a Junior Application Consultant looking for guidance on a fast formula problem.

I created a Time Entry Rule (TER) to validate time card submission. The rule displays an error when the weekly total exceeds 40 hours.

The issue is that when a user enters:

• 40 hours of regular/project time, and
• additional overtime hours on a separate line,

the time card is still blocked, even though overtime hours are supposed to apply beyond the 40‑hour threshold.

Expected behavior:
The time card should be blocked only if regular hours alone exceed 40 hours.
If overtime hours are entered, the submission should be allowed.
