Marking the field as required on HSDL, still do not make it mandatory

Summary:

We need to make a field mandatory on the HSDL. We marked it as required using the steps below, but the HSDL still loads even when the field is left blank. The field is a Yes/No choice list.

Could you please help us enforce this field as mandatory so the HSDL cannot be submitted/loaded with an empty value?

Steps Followed:

• Manage Templates: Click on Manage Spreadsheet Templates.

• Edit Template: Click on the Design tab.
