How to restrict employees from withdrawing existing absences when plan is inactive

edited 3:18PM in Human Capital Management 1 comment

Hi,

We observed that employees can withdraw absence entries via Employee Self‑Service even when the associated accrual plan is currently Inactive, these absence records are originally created during a period when the plan was active and the employee was enrolled.
Global Absence Entry Validation Fast Formula does not trigger on withdrawal actions, and we could not find any delivered configuration to restrict withdrawal based on the current plan status. As a result, plan inactivation does not prevent ESS withdrawal of historical absences.

Requirement:
We need to restrict absence withdrawal/updates in Employee Self‑Service when the related accrual plan is currently Inactive, while allowing administrative override (HR/MSS).

Howdy, Stranger!
