Unable to attach user groups to course in Redwood 26A

Summary:

Hi Experts,

As a learning admin, I am unable to attach a user group to the course. After clicking on apply, in the audience area I get 'Manage Access Groups' which brings me to the responsive UI interface, allowing me to attach a global access group instead of a user group. Post attaching that as well, the access is not restricted to the intended target audience.

The user group is otherwise functioning correctly, as I am able to attach it to the learning item and the access is restricted as expected. Are user groups not enabled for courses in redwood currently or are any other users facing the same issue?
