How are DECS environments kept up to date?

  • How are updates handled?
    • Oracle Fusion has a new product release each quarter
    • Your DECS environment will be re-provisioned each quarter with the latest code and content with key features enabled
    • As a non-production environment, the update will be on the first Friday of the Cohort A update month
      • Cohort A: February, May, August, November

Can I skip or postpone updates?

  • No

Will I lose any custom data/setups during the update?

  • Yes, the existing environment will be re-provisioned as a new environment on the latest code and content so it will not maintain any customizations you make
  • We recommend that you document any integrations or configurations that you wish to preserve so you can reapply them after the quarterly environment refresh
