Oracle AI Agent Not Responding After Document Upload – “Assistant Unavailable”

Hi Team,

I have created an AI Agent in Oracle AI Agent Studio and uploaded a user manual document under the Tools section. My goal is for the agent to answer user queries based on this document.

However, the agent is not responding as expected and instead returns the message:
“Sorry, the assistant is unavailable right now.”

I have already verified and completed the following steps:

  1. Ran the Process Agent Documents scheduled process
  2. Ensured the document status is Ready to Publish
  3. Confirmed the document format is supported (PDF/TXT/Markdown)
  4. Properly referenced the Document Tool in topic instructions
  5. Republished the agent after making changes
