Issue with Generated email

Summary:

Hi Oracle Community, We observed an issue in Oracle Learning and Development (Redwood UI) when deactivating a Self-Paced Learning item and selecting the “Notify” option for other learning owners. The generated email opens with the subject line displaying:

"&body="

instead of a blank subject line.

From our testing:

• This occurs in Classic Outlook for Windows.
• It does not occur in New Outlook or Outlook on the Web.
• The Notify action appears to generate a mailto link similar to:
  mailto:{owner}?subject=&body=

Modern Outlook clients handle this correctly, but as using Classic Outlook seems to interpret “&body=” as part of the subject line when the subject parameter is empty.
