Unable to Add HTTP Data Source in BI Publisher Oracle Transportation Management Cloud

Hi Experts,

We have the following business requirement in OTM Cloud and would appreciate clarification on the supported approach.

Requirement:A user should initiate an on-demand process from OTM and provide an input parameter (for example P_ORDER). Based on this parameter, an integration retrieves external order data and creates an Order Base in OTM.

Additional Context:

  • The Order Base does not already exist in OTM.
  • The process is user-driven (manual/on-demand).
  • We initially explored BI Publisher HTTP Data Source, but Oracle Support clarified that additional data sources are not supported due to OTM Cloud reporting license restrictions.
