Redwood Learning Assignment-Status Changes (Approve/Activate/Withdraw) Not Updating in Real Time

Hi Community,

We are facing an issue in the new Redwood Learning Assignments page.

When a Learning Administrator performs actions such as Approve, Activate, Withdraw, or Reject, the assignment status doesn’t update instantly in the UI. The changes are only reflected after running the following scheduled process:

  • ESS job to create index definition and perform initial ingest to OSCS
    • fa-hcm-learningrecord input parameter

However, this process takes approximately 5 hours to complete.

Our concern is that the status updates should ideally happen in real time without needing to run a long indexing process manually.

Additionally, during our testing we observed that while this process is running, all courses temporarily disappear from the learner side, which makes running it daily quite risky from a business perspective.
