EPM to ERP interface / hierarchy export strategy

Summary:

Hello,

We would like to do a data extraction from EPM Cloud for a specific hierarchy level (level 4 - the hierarchy has more then 10 levels) of a dimension (the dimension cointains  ~100k members) however, for what we know this isn't actually possible to select in the extract filters. We cannot provide the single members to extract in the filter condition, therefore the 2 ideas we are having are:

  • add a parallel hierarchy used specifically for the data extract with the level 4 members - create/use a dedicated hierarchy containing only Agency elements for the interface
  • Export all Level 0 data and rebuild/aggregate the hierarchy externally (OIC/database)
