ERES Approval Workflow does not send approval in Miscellaneous Receipt Using Deferred Mode

I'm implementing the ERES functionality for electronic signatures on miscellaneous receipts; however, when I submit the transaction for approval, it's not reaching the approval workflow.

Additionally, does anyone have information on how to configure this functionality, how to reject transactions, or where I can find the transactions that are stuck in a pending approval state?
