Nudges? Implementation and things to consider

Summary:

Looking to start utilising the Nudges particularly around goals/development goals.
Things I'm concerned about (wonder if anyone had anything similar/steps they took)

A large number of old/historical goals on HCM, did people close these off via a HDL etc? does the nudge feature allow you to specify to exclude goals older than X

Any tips/considerations people have came across since implementing
