Workflow Agent vs Supervisor Agent — Higher Token Consumption and Inconsistent Responses

in AI for Fusion Applications

HI, I am using Oracle AI Agent Studio (Fusion Cloud) and observed two issues when comparing Workflow Agent and Supervisor Agent for the same use case and prompt.

Issue 1 — Token Consumption: For the same query, the Supervisor Agent consumed lesser tokens while the Workflow Agent consumes more tokens

Issue 2 — Inconsistent Responses: Both agents use the identical system prompt with explicit formatting instructions, but the Workflow Agent ignores these instructions and returns inconsistent formatting responses.

Any guidance would be appreciated.
