How to remove the end date of the component on Item Structure

Summary:

Hi PIM?PDH Gurus,

There is requirement from client to remove the End date from the Component which had End dated in past. Currently End date field is grayed out and non-editable, needs an editable field to remove end date

Is there any way we can achieve this as part of out of box functionality
