Issuing State Field in Document Types

Hi everyone,

We are currently configuring Document Types in Oracle HCM and noticed a difference in the behavior of the standard field “Issuing State” depending on whether the document type is seeded or custom.

For seeded document types, the field appears as a LOV with predefined state values.
However, when creating a custom document type, the same field becomes a free-text field.

Our requirement would be to have this field available as a LOV also for custom document types, in order to prevent users from entering incorrect or inconsistent state values.
