Adjusting Depreciation Reserve without changing YTD Depreciation

Hi

We migrated an asset from Legacy to Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets in April 2026 (In service date : Jan-2019) with YTD depreciation and depreciation reserve balances in the tax book. Depreciation for Apr-26 has already been run, and the current open period is May-26.

Our client has now realized that an incorrect depreciation reserve, cost, useful life was provided during the data migration and would like to rectify it. I understand that we can adjust cost, useful life and use the Unplanned Depreciation functionality to adjust the depreciation; however, this also impacts the YTD depreciation.

Is there a way to update or override the depreciation reserve without affecting the YTD depreciation?
