Pegging of rescheduled out PO to a sales order in unconstrained supply plan

We have a sales order with a due date in October 2026 and a purchase order due in June 2026. In the plan output, the purchase order is pegged to the sales order with a Reschedule Out exception, and the SDD is September 2026.

The question is: why did the plan not align the purchase order due date with the sales order due date, even though it generated a Reschedule Out exception?
