FCCS Approval Unit Functionality vs. HFM Process Management
Summary
HFM, we had multiple review levels within Process Management. At each level, users were able to modify the data and then promote it to the next review level. The final reviewer would then sign off, completing the process.
FCCS, we are trying to achieve similar functionality using Approval Units. We have configured an Approval Unit with one owner and a couple of reviewers, all of whom have user roles with write access to a specific entity.
We would appreciate clarification on the following scenarios:
- Owner submission and reviewer access
When the owner submits the data, their entity access becomes read-only, which is expected. However, the reviewers are also unable to edit the data, despite having write security access to the entity.
