We have a client requirement to understand how the Best Response Price is calculated in Oracle Sourcing Cloud.
In our negotiation, four suppliers have submitted responses with different pricing and commercial details. The client would like to understand the exact criteria Oracle uses to identify and rank a response as the Best Response.
Specifically, we would like clarification on the following:
- Is the Best Response determined solely based on the lowest quoted price submitted by suppliers?
- Are there any additional factors considered in the calculation, such as:
- Cost factors
- Freight charges
- Currency conversion
- Price breaks / tier pricing
- Supplier scores
