Oracle Fusion HCM Refresh: Target env Processes: Preserve or automate re-creation

We are using Oracle Fusion Applications for HCM and are looking for advice / best practice around environment refreshes and the subsequent reconfiguration work required in the target environment.

Our current understanding is that when a non-production environment is refreshed, the target environment is overwritten with the source snapshot, and as a result a number of environment-specific scheduled processes and related configuration items need to be re-established afterwards.
In our case, this includes re-setting up scheduled processes in the refreshed target environment, based on a maintained list of required jobs and parameters. It is manual, time-consuming, and potentially prone to error.
