Pricing Strategy Design for Multiple Business Units Sharing Common Customers and Items

Summary:

We are currently implementing Oracle Fusion Order Management and Pricing for a multinational organization and would appreciate your guidance on the pricing design.

Business Scenario

Our client operates through seven different Business Units, with each Business Unit associated with its own Inventory Organization.

Key assumptions and requirements are as follows:

  1. Common Customer Base
    • Approximately 500 customers are shared across all seven Business Units.
    • We would prefer not to create customer-based segmentation or maintain separate customer profiles for pricing purposes, as all customers are treated similarly from a pricing perspective.
  2. Common Item Master
    • All items are defined in a centralized Item Master Organization.
