It needs to be understood that Consolidation Method (Subsidiary, Holding, Discontinued, Inactive etc.) is not a metadata property.  It is rather data that goes into Essbase cube when Ownerships are entered followed by Recompute Ownership.  FCCS Admin guide had documented this information here - Ownership Settings in Forms and Configurable Calculation Rules.
