Clarification on Autoprovisioning Behavior with Delegation and Line Manager Role

We have observed a scenario related to autoprovisioning of the Line Manager role and would like to seek your confirmation on the expected system behavior.

In cases where User A has been assigned the Line Manager role through delegation from another user (User B), and subsequently User A becomes an actual Line Manager due to a transaction (such as transfer to a parent position with child incumbents), the autoprovisioning rule does not assign the Line Manager role to User A based on the configured conditions.

Our understanding is that delegation and autoprovisioning are treated independently by the system
