Future Scheduled Absences Not Automatically Withdrawn After Loss of Absence Plan Eligibility
We have a scenario where an employee transfers from one Bargaining Unit to another and, as a result, becomes ineligible for an absence accrual plan (for example, a CTO plan). The employee may already have future-dated absences scheduled against that plan before the transfer occurs.
We understand that when an employee is terminated, Oracle Fusion automatically withdraws future scheduled absences. However, when an employee loses eligibility for an absence plan due to a Bargaining Unit change or other eligibility changes, the future absences remain in the system and can result in errors during the Evaluate Absences process because the employee is no longer enrolled in or eligible for the plan.
