When a transaction line creates multiple assets, how can the original configuration be made availabl

Summary:

There is a use case in Oracle CPQ ABO where a single transaction line needs to be converted into multiple assets based on the quantity. For example, if the quantity is 2, then 2 separate assets should be created.

However, we have observed that when performing a Modify Asset action on these assets, the previously selected configuration from the original transaction line is not available.

Is it possible to achieve this requirement in ABO? How does the system retain or associate the original configuration with each generated asset when multiple assets are created from a single transaction line? Additionally, what is the recommended approach to ensure the original configuration is available during future asset modifications?

Howdy, Stranger!
