How to manually override price on sales order lines imported with Freeze Price set to true?

Summary:
We have a requirement to manually override the price of a sales order line that was imported from an external system with the "Freeze Price" attribute set to true.
To allow updates, we already disabled the processing constraint that blocks modifications on externally created sales orders. However, the "Edit Price" option on the order line remains greyed out/disabled.
Has anyone successfully implemented a workaround or solution for this scenario? Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
