Recording an earlier assignment with an employment gap before the official hire
Hi all,
we have a recurring requirement that our current options only solve in an impractical way.
Scenario:
A worker is hired into a regular position with a future start date and is created as a Pending Worker; preboarding is completed.
Some weeks before that start date, we learn that the same worker will already perform a separate, short assignment ahead of the official hire date. Between this earlier assignment and the regular position there is a period during which the worker is not employed at all.
The required timeline is therefore:
- An earlier short assignment, starting before the originally planned hire date
